With close to 70,000 active cases in India, the novel Coronavirus and the protective regulations to fight it seems to have evolved keeping in mind the wellbeing of the economy of the nation and in turn, the people of the nation as well. As lockdown restrictions are eased and few essential businesses are up and running again, India is ensuring that life goes on and citizens are tended to.

While restrictions seem to have eased and movements of work and funds go back to usual, we must adhere to safety and hygiene standards by regularly washing our hands, protecting major entry points that are our eyes, nose, mouth, and most importantly, practicing social distancing with utmost importance.

Over 200 companies in Pune’s industrial districts Chakan, Talegaon, Baramati, and Ranjhangaon have resumed operations after restrictions were eased on Monday, even in the midst of the lockdown. The immediate focus was on maintenance, manpower, and operating procedures which would help gather some momentum into workplaces and eventually, the economy in the coming few weeks. Lastly, even within residential capacities, sanitization measures are being taken to rid residents of worry and other health conditions.

Goel Ganga Developments construction sites across the city are being sanitized, and undergoing pest-control to avoid further health issues, at projects such as Ganga Platino in Kharadi, Ganga Aria in Dhanori and Sangria in Kondhwa. Our COVID-19 warriors are hard at work even here, as they brave uncertain conditions to sanitize and secure various localities in Pune city. At a time where no measure is too excessive, disinfectant tunnels have been installed at our construction sites in Ganga Liviano and Ganga Serio, to prevent the spread and contagion of COVID-19. Although there is some debate as to the extent of these technologies, we want to ensure the physical as well as mental wellbeing of our residents around the city. Additionally, thermal scanning devices have also been deployed at various locations to make any development known immediately.
