Serio Super Kings won the Goel Ganga Premier League (GGPL) Season 2 cricket event, organized by Goel Ganga Developments. The final match of this cricket championship was played between the defending winners of season one, the Platino Sunrisers and the Serio Super Kings. Serio Super Kings set a goal of 122 runs, and while chasing runs, Platino Sunrisers managed only 113 runs for the loss of seven wickets in ten overs. Serio Super Kings won this thrilling encounter by 9 runs to claim the season 2 title.
The league included five teams: Platino Sunrisers, Ishanya Challengers, Serio Super Kings, New town Knight Riders, and Utopia Warriors, all named after current projects called Goel Ganga Developments.
