NRIs ATTENTION! Investment options that you can put money into

NRIs look into five investment options: real estate, mutual funds, ULIP, NPS and fixed deposit.

Various investment options and periodic income production devices are available today for NRIs, each with its perks. NRI’s can look into these five investment options: real estate, mutual funds, ULIP, NPS and fixed deposit.

Subhash Goel, MD of Goel Ganga Developments, spoke about real estate, which is the best-suited investment option for NRI investors: “The Indian government recently eased restrictions on foreign direct investment (FDI) in India, particularly in the construction sector. Non-resident Indians (NRIs) are overjoyed at the news. NRIs are likely to find real estate in India more inexpensive as the Indian rupee declines in value against the US dollar. More NRIs investing in Indian real estate will increase capital flow. This may give much-needed growth to the sector, and raising capital investment in the industry will likely lower housing costs in the country “.

Commercial property can also expand at a rate of 5 to 10% each year, depending on location, making it a viable investment option.
