With a rapid increase in coronavirus patients every day, schools and educational institutions are closed across the country to reduce the spread. Keeping your energetic little ones engaged at home during these tough times of COVID 19 is a difficult task. Since most of us are working from home, balancing work life and family has become a major concern now. Here are a few basic things you can do as a parent to engage your Children during this lockdown.

Kid-friendly educational apps

With the arrival of apps, learning has become easily accessible, which makes it much more interesting for students of all ages. Educational apps can be a great way to enhance your child’s curriculum and school work. E-learning will engage their brains and will allow them to have fun while they are learning.

Let your kids socialize with their peers over a video conference

You can plan fun activities on a video call with their friends so that they can socialize. Making study groups is a great way to make your kid interact with others and hence they will not feel isolated. Get in touch with the parents of their peers so that you all can do some activities together over video calls like reading stories, quizzes, etc.

Practicing art and craft

Nothing makes a kid happier than crayons, paints, markers, drawing, origami, and some other fun crafts. These things will surely keep your children busy for a long period of time. By practicing art and craft, they will not only be creative but it will also help them feel less lonely.
