While the news of a nationwide lockdown came with a side of panic, Government officials assured citizens that essential grocery shops would remain open for service. Furthermore, grocery distributions are being carried out in various places of Maharashtra as a measure to avoid large gatherings at stores.
This week, essential grocery distributions were carried out at few Goel Ganga Developments sites, namely Ganga Serio, Ganga Platino and Liviano in Kharadi, Ganga Trueno in Viman Nagar as well as Ganga Acropolis on Satara Road and Ganga Aria in Dhanori. This was done with the aim of supporting the labor camps in and around the sites, to ensure physical and mental well-being of the workers in need of a helping hand.
While an air of uncertainty looms over the nation, the citizens of the country hold the power to turn tables and make the most of this situation, thus, supporting local businesses, wage workers, health care staff and the Governing bodies with even small acts such as providing meals to those in need, adjusting fund transfers and salaries/wages.
