In Union Budget 2025 the expansion of Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 to cover 8 crore children, 1 crore pregnant women, and 20 lakh adolescent girls demonstrates a holistic approach to women’s and children’s well-being. Such initiatives, particularly for lactating mothers and adolescent girls, will have a lasting impact on community health.
